Green Party say they plan to ensure everyone has a minimum wage of £31,000pa. I run a business. I don’t earn that. I employ 2 people. They don’t earn that. The business I run doesn’t take in enough to pay that. I’d need to charge customers way more to afford that 🤷‍♂️. Or go bust.

Tired, Boss. Dog tired. Off to bed now. Got a day off tomorrow. Bank holiday. Maniacs out there hoping & praying I go bust, you keep praying hard now, ye hear. Global biz loves you & so does that clown on Facebook who you pay more to for a shit job, no tax. Here’s your medal🥇

@Evilgenius222 I’m pleased for you. Reminds me of when I couldn’t pay myself one month either. It took me nearly 4 months to claw myself back to the position I was in the month before. I felt ashamed. Vowed never to do that again. Never have. I’ll have your online Tesco order there soon, Master

@iWalkOutdoors I ran a company for 25 years through good & bad. In bad years I always paid my staff but I took no salary & my family had to make do. In good years I took a salary & a profit. If you can’t afford to pay your staff properly you haven’t got a business so yes go work for Tesco.

@nick_macde10972 I think a lot of folk do. They want to get that guy off Facebook who will send a lad round to do the job. Yep, they’ll love that. Until it all goes wrong that is. Then they’ll phone someone like me, but I’ve gone bust & work at Tesco now delivering their online oat milk orders.

@avl06 I wish. It’s like 20 questions 😂 Many think they are owed a reply. Like I’m some kind of always on monetised podcaster 😂

@mrboredom123 Superb, Mr X. Your invoice is on the way, including a little extra because I know you want it. Call it a bleeding heart tax. You can wear it on your sleeve. Perhaps mention it the next time you call a local plumber, joinery, electrician, decorator. Thank you for you gratuity 🙏

@iWalkOutdoors Heaven forbid if people get an increase in pay they have more money to spend so you can justify price increases. Whaaaaaaaat no waaaaay.

@pixasystems Well, this is the first year ever that I’ve ever contemplated long term illness. For a whole week I thought about what illness I could have. Nothing major. Just enough for pip. Then I realised my wife & kids need me, & I need to not be a scrounger. I hate politicians. Them all.

@Dlgmason93 Yes, agreed, I’ll add that to the email to customers informing them of the upcoming price increases. I mean, I have my family to think about, and the families of my employees. To heck with the families of those who are paying the increased prices. Oh, wait a minute. They are me🤦‍♂️

@iWalkOutdoors You might not eat that but it’s something that most families go to. Families can barely survive yet someone who is a minimum skill job deserves £15 an hour is outrageous.

@BorisBinned @bluesonofspeke Was it the ‘voting Labour’ that pushed you from admiration to wanker? 🤷‍♂️ I know. I understand. It was a long time ago though.

@SellikBhoy @prettyusefulUI @dennypark65 A ‘better job’ ……at Tescos for less pay & in a job they don’t want to do nor suits their family circumstances. All so you can get your online shopping orders.

@prettyusefulUI @dennypark65 @iWalkOutdoors Id rather them be in a better job where the owner pays them a fair wage. The options available aren't just "Job with shit pay" and "no job"

@Drrrivvveee Glory be to the NI givers 😂. How about politicians raise the ICT threshold to £15, £17.5, £20k & reduce corporation tax for those businesses below the VAT turnover threshold. That would help micro businesses & ALL employees, even those employed by uk wide & global businesses. ☺️

@iWalkOutdoors The state then potentially has to subsidise your workers because you can’t/wont pay them a living wage. We need people to work but they need to and deserve to earn enough to live without having to struggle.

@rv_southern Me & my employees could go to Tesco on Tuesday for less wages, no control over when or where we work, get some multi-level managerial bosses telling me who’s boss so I can deliver online shopping to your door & be happy I’m working better. Is that how it works 🥰
