Goa Customs Commissionerate organised #RozgarMela at International Centre Goa on 26 April 2025. Shri Shripad Naik (MoS), Shri Rohit Monseratte (Mayor), Shri Sunil Deshmukh & Shri Bipin Upadhayay handed over appointment letters to 46 candidates.

The personal search of the female passenger resulted in recovery of four capsules containing gold in paste form totally weighing 857 grams (739 grams after extraction), concealed in her hairband. Market value of the seized gold is Rs. 44,95,337/- .(2/3)

On 23.09.2023, based on passenger profiling the Customs officers of Air Intelligence Unit, Dabolim Airport intercepted a female Indian national who arrived at Dabolim Airport, Goa from Dubai via Muscat by Oman Air flight no. WY 209. (1/3)

A grand ground breaking and foundation stone laying ceremony was organized on 20.09.2023 for the construction of the new GST building of Bhavnagar Commissionerate. Officials from various departments of the Center and the State participated in the ceremony.

NLSIU signed an MoU with @nacincbic on Friday, to offer a PG Diploma in Commercial Laws to IRS Officer Trainees. MoU was signed by NLSIU VC Prof. Sudhir Krishnaswamy and Dr. K N Raghavan, DG, NACIN in presence of CBIC Chairman Sh. Sanjay Agarwal and Member Admin Sh. Alok Shukla.

North-eastern States have been the biggest beneficiaries of GST, recording a compound annual GST revenue growth rate of 27.5% since the implementation of the GST (2017-18 to 2022-23) as against 14.8% for all states.
