Partnering for a brighter future! Guided by global good and in our commitment to Global South, India continues to extend capacity-building assistance to ~160 countries through its flagship ITEC Programme. 🎥 Here's a glimpse into some of the ITEC Programmes conducted in March!

@IndiainJordan marked ITEC Engagement Day with a lively gathering of Jordanian ITEC alumni. Over the past three years, 144 Jordanian professionals traveled to India under the ITEC programme to attend training courses in banking, information technology, education management, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energy. During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jordan in December 2025 and engagements with His Majesty King Abdullah II, the leaders emphasized people-to-people ties, educational cooperation, and youth engagement as key pillars of the bilateral relationship. The event was also attended by Members of Parliament, the diplomatic corps, the India–Jordan Alumni Association, academicians, business representatives, and members of the Indian diaspora.

A shared vision for Natural Heritage. Vietnamese officials attended course in India which highlighted the mountain heritage and importance of global collaboration in conservation efforts. They also made field visits to mountains and cultural communities to learn on-site. 🇮🇳🤝🇻🇳

L’ambassade de l’Inde à Antananarivo (également accréditée auprès des Comores) a célébré la Journée ITEC 2025-2026 à Moroni (Comores) le 24 mars 2026. De nombreuses personnalités ont honoré la célébration de leur présence, notamment le vice-secrétaire général et ministre par intérim des Affaires étrangères et de la Coopération internationale des Comores, le secrétaire général du ministère de la Jeunesse, des Sports, de l’Emploi, des Arts et de la Culture, le chef de cabinet du ministère des Affaires étrangères, l’ambassadeur et chef de chancellerie du ministère des Affaires étrangères, l’inspecteur général de la police, le conseiller du cabinet militaire, le président de l’université des Comores et le consul honoraire de l’Inde aux Comores. Plus de 60 anciens participants au programme ITEC originaires des Comores ont assisté à l’événement. Dans son allocution, le chargé d’affaires, M. Mohit Kumar, a souligné l’importance de l’ITEC pour le renforcement des capacités et le développement de la jeunesse du pays et a rappelé les propos du Premier ministre, M. Narendra Modi, selon lesquels l’ITEC est un symbole fort de la coopération Sud-Sud. À cette occasion, les anciens élèves de l'ITEC ont offert des prestations culturelles remarquables. La célébration s'est poursuivie par un délicieux repas indien. La Journée de l'ITEC, les spectacles culturels et la cuisine indienne ont été très appréciés des participants. Embassy of India, Antananarivo (concurrently accredited to Comoros) celebrated the ITEC-Day 2025-26 in Moroni (Comoros) on 24 March 2026. The celebration was graced by dignitaries including the Vice Secretary General and acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Comoros, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth, Sports, Employment, Arts and Culture, the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador and Chief of the Chancellery of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chief Police Inspector, Advisor to the Military Cabinet, the President of the University of Comoros and the Honorary Consul of India to Comoros. More than 60 ITEC Alumni from Comoros attended the event. In his remarks, Charge d’Affaires Mr. Mohit Kumar highlighted the significance of ITEC for capacity building of youth development of the nation. and remembered the words of Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, that ITEC is a powerful symbol of South-South cooperation. On this occasion the ITEC alumni presented eye-catching cultural performances. The celebration was followed by serving of delicious Indian cuisines. Assistant High Commission of India, Rajshahi celebrated the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Day, 2026 on 29th March 2026. The Embassy celebrated ITEC Day 2026 on 23 March at Shangri-La The Fort, bringing together over 100 ITEC alumni and distinguished representatives from TESDA, DFA, AFP, the Coast Guard, and other partner institutions in the Philippines. Ambassador Shri Harsh Kumar Jain welcomed the guests, underscoring the pivotal role of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) programme in strengthening institutional capacities and advancing human capital development. Chief Guest Monina Arevalo Zenarosa, in her remarks, fondly recalled her visit to India and highlighted India’s contributions to peace and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific through its capacity-building initiatives under ITEC. Lt. Gen. Ferdinand T. Brandon, Commander of the Armed Forces Intelligence Command, also addressed the gathering. Drawing from his own experience as an ITEC participant, he emphasized the programme’s growing importance in deepening India–Philippines defence cooperation.
