@All_Lee24 A lot of online discourse has such stupidly puritanical views on queerness. It's like there are many people just thinking of being queer as an aesthetic to be preserved more than a sexuality. I think this is most prevalent on twitter and tumblr.

I’ve actually had to bring this up in therapy because the internet’s weird watered down “unproblematic” version of lesbianism gave me a complex that my sexuality (getting physically aroused by women) was predatory. It’s actually done a number on my ability to pursue relationships

ive been struggling to articulate this, but a lot of self-proclaimed progressives are so indoctrinated in this “lesbian love is soft and pure and unsexual” brand of homophobia that they genuinely can’t imagine why lesbians would like conventionally sexy women

@belladonnafeli I hate how so many books now are expected to have Sanderson-esque magic systems which work like video games, while also dulling the prose to be as bland and soulless as possible. It's like every book needs to be either a video game, or a mass-market simplified movie.
