For me we're in like C+/B- territory, get to B+/A- with a starter. Can't get to solid A/A+ without adding a cleanup hitter, which for me was the #2 priority of the off-season and #1 now that SS has been addressed. Like the depth they added.

@b_outliers Surly must be looking at a lefty smasher to pinch hit for Harris or Yaz at end of games (maybe even Baldwin and Kim) with Dubon and White being able to cover most positions at a good level

This move doesn’t change the Braves’ pursuit of a SS. They could benefit from the versatility that both Dubon and Yaz would bring to the roster

Yaz could play LF vs RHPs with Profar being a DH option on those days. He also has the ability to play both CF and RF. Baldwin could be the DH on many days he doesn’t catch. But he could also catch 4/5 games to start the year if Murphy isn’t ready to return from hip surgery

@mlbbowman Baldwin is not good enough batter for a DH!! He is a good hitter for a catcher but this line up is missing a bat big time

@russcausier @BerenCross It would be intresting to see if that formation works but it isn’t easy completely changing your system mid season and I just don’t think we have the strikers that can play at this level - plus that means you have 4 wingers you can’t play

Full-time. Farke will talk about winning the statistics and missing chances, but that never felt convincing for any especially prolonged spell for Leeds. Error punished and a worldie at the other end. Still averaging a point a game, but piles the pressure onto Friday night. #lufc
