Great client feedback isn't about saying yes to everything. It's about building alignment early, and staying flexible when the work demands a shift. The ideal moment to align? Before the project even begins. But alignment isn't static. Regular check-ins—progress updates, ongoing feedback—keep expectations and deliverables in sync. And not every piece of feedback is worth acting on. Sometimes, the best move is knowing what to set aside, and what to act on. On this project, after getting feedback on the first concept and going over a few things with my client, we both decided to pivot. Here's how I handled the shift: First, I updated my moodboard. I removed the references that no longer aligned with the new direction I was exploring, and replaced them with ones that did. Next, I reworked the color palette. The techy gradients from the initial concept didn't match the vibe anymore, so I shifted to something more vibrant and upbeat. Then, I sourced fresh elements to support the message. A lot of the 3D assets I'd recently collected turned out to be perfect for this direction. But here's where it could have all fallen apart: If I'd nailed the elements selection but failed to present it clearly, we'd have been back at square one. So I built a layout that prioritized hierarchy and clarity, emphasizing the most important information without sacrificing the supporting details. @Graphifi2 @cakewallet it's the dark theme with yellow accent, it is intentional. but fun fact here: on cake wallet's logo, the orange stands for monero, yellow for bitcoin, and blue for cake's original brand color and (spoiler), the new logo for monerocom its just orange and blue because no bitcoin
