Attacking soldiers suffer losses of 3-6 more than defenders. You can ask the Russians, who have much more equipment and men how their offensive is going. If you think that in mountainous terrain and with a new type of warfare, drones and schemes that the Iranians are well aware of from Russia, losses will be lower, I have bad news for you

I am Romanian so I can laugh at the fact that the US president is a demented old man completely devoid of morality or basic human decency. But if I was American I would be ashamed of myself every single day he was in office. The world does not care "you didn't vote for him". He is YOUR president.

If Ukraine pulled back its troops in exchange for “security guarantees” proposed by Trump, Russia would move in immediately. They’d take the abandoned fortified positions (and positions are good as you can see) without a fight, strengthen them, and use them as a springboard for the next offensive. Trump knows it

President Zelensky says the US is pressuring Ukraine to withdraw from the eastern Donbas region, making security guarantees conditional on that withdrawal. Absolutely disgraceful

Many people still don’t understand why Ukraine refuses to accept “compromise” peace proposals pushed by Donald Trump onto Volodymyr Zelenskyy. It’s actually very simple. Ukraine’s defensive lines have been built and reinforced for years. Russia has been trying to break through them since 2014 - and largely failed. Every time Russia gains even a small advantage, Ukraine builds new layers of defense. If Ukraine withdraws and gives up territory, Russia doesn’t just gain land - it inherits fortified Ukrainian positions on top of its own. That creates a much stronger launchpad for further offensives. And let’s be realistic: the moment Ukrainian forces leave, Russia will violate any agreement and move in immediately. Then it will push forward again under any pretext. This isn’t a situation where trust or paper agreements mean anything. That’s why these “compromises” are not seen as peace in Ukraine - but as a setup for the next phase of war.

As usual, the worse Russia is doing on the battlefield, the more Putin‘s sycophant Trump pushes Ukraine to surrender territory that Russia cannot take, and the more he criticizes Zelenskyy for not accepting national suicide.
