I might sound like a "transplant" but I am not. You're correct the "power brokers" & "the church" keep their property nice downtown, because the leftist mayor & the woke political leaders in SLC are liars & hypocrites. I grew up in Magna and I have never once flexed my white privilege in my entire life, maybe once, in an email. But you go on ranting about the scary woke liberals who infest downtown with their wokeness, even though the developers of all of these new buildings are the GOP power brokers and bankers who run this town. Also, you sound like you're a transplant to Utah bc no local person is ever going to think that downtown is bedlam because it's home to the HQ of the LDS Church. The LDS Church owns 10% of the property in acreage downtown (150 acres), so people saying downtown is horrible is also pointing at Church property. And here's the funny part, those homeless people that you're all up in arms about are usually panhandling over by City Creek, which the Church owns. Maybe your beef is with the LDS Church who tolerate and help the poor bc, you know, they're about being Christlike and not throwing people away. So you need to start with facts versus spouting all this weird rhetoric about Hollywood.

The person exercising their Constitutional right who tragically died was shot and killed by hired security, when they opened fire at someone who was legally open carrying a rifle, exercising their 2A rights. I've walked home from Pioneer Park at 1AM at night dozens of times because I have friends who live in the condos next to it, and I've been to parties held in the event space in that building complex. Also there are hundreds of people who live and work next to that park, and they don't have any problems at that time of night, because "the homeless" are human beings, they're not deranged psycho killers who lurk in Pioneer Park. And, the reason why we have a concentration of homeless and drug addicts down by the Park is because that's where we "woke affluent aholes" have built social services facilities to help them. Because unlike most neighborhoods in the suburbs, mine has numerous social and welfare services facilities that help these people get back on their feet. I don't mind having those facilities in the area and next to my home. There are thousands of people who need help, and we have some of the best programs in the nation, paired public transportation that allows them to get around. Finally, I was delusional enough to buy a dilapidated condo unit when the area was depressed and built out what used to be a run-down building. It's my little contribution to the improvement of my home city, when not many people saw the vision for a better downtown. I think you need to calm down and go have a sandwhich over Robin's Nest.

Recently, the NY Post ran a story about Kristi Noem's husband Bryan, whose family wishes he would leave her due to her basically open affair with Corey Lewandowski. It turns out, Bryan is a crossdresser who likes to wear giant fake boobs and leggings showing off his curves. He sent pictures like these to women he met online who he would send money to. He sent at least $25,000 to his online roster. Oh yeah, and he was doing this while his wife was running DHS. Is he an autogynephilia? Or was it revenge for getting cucked by Corey? Note his face is clearly visible in many of the photos, and he even discussed the affair. Perhaps both? I have a book coming out on how populism leads to the worst people being in power across a wide variety of dimensions. You should preorder.

There are plenty of homeless encampments "downtown" & in SLC proper which is what issue is. Of course the central business district gets more police attention than more diverse places in SLC. Because the woke, entitled, city leaders downtown don't practice what they preach.
