@neil_j_i @VaxHuntersCan @VaxHuntersON I can confirm they gave AZ to 30+ yesterday (Saturday). I went after a tip from my neighbour and it was mostly 30 year olds. I got my vaccine. My wife went this morning and was turned away. They said today is restricted to 40+. I keep watching twitter to see if anything changes.

Imagine if after buying a car I demanded that no one else could buy a car because they would impact my ability to drive traffic free. If someone else wanted a car, I would say “but I bought mine first!”

The Missing Middle refers to housing forms that range from duplexes to low-rise apartments that are limited in where they can be located. A pilot program coming to Beaches-East York soon will investigate how new zoning by-laws could improve this housing supply in Toronto.

@PlannerSean @g_meslin @michaelgrange I had a project on Bathurst where the Zoning permitted an Apartment Building use but then restricted the number of units to 2.

@g_meslin @michaelgrange My hunch is that it would be easier to get a variance to add 1 unit, rather than to get a variance to get a triplex (even if they would be functionally identical)

Your regular reminder that purpose-built multi-family housing can integrate seamlessly with the physical character of low-rise neighbourhoods, and it should be broadly permitted as of right.
