Once in a while I miss exploring abandoned buildings. Saw some awesome spaces while I was in the game for about 15 years. All but one of these were shot on film, mostly 4x5. Lots of these places have been demolished.

In the 1980s Mississauga was the fastest growing city in Canada. In the 1990s-early 200s it was Vaughan. In the 2010s, Milton growth was just behind Kelowna. Today south Simcoe County growth is ~40%. All the respective growth was unlocked by water supply & wastewater management.

But transportation is only one thing. The real issue holding back the expansion of cities is the availability of water & management of wastewater. Lake Simcoe is overburdened. Peterborough, London & Waterloo Region's growth are limited by water supply & wastewater infrastructure.
