I'm still quite inconsistent as a player, VGC is a different beast LOL... but the theory worked out here, everybody plays regular Venusaur in Sun, but Mega Venusaur fixes a lot of annoying stuff for Tyranitar and Excadrill, he is HARD TO KILL.
We run earth power by the way, deals with Sneaslers, helps us wear down King Gambit, Incineroar, etc!
