@Realrclark25 You know as well as all of us that Arch is a 3⭐️ QB w a 5⭐️ name RC. C’mon. You didn’t watch his Neuman tape? Sure he’s improved but there will be 8-10 guys in ‘27 going high. Sure FM isn’t a runaway QB1 but Simpson isn’t that great either. Dan is wrong on this one.

Dan Orlovsky is one of the best sport’s analyst in the world… period. No one studies the game more. This is especially true when it comes to QB play. Every time we work together I think, “he one of them ones too!”. The reaction to his Mendoza take is laughable.
Fernando Mendoza is the #1 overall pick, but the gap isn’t as wide as some believe. Also, there’s no comparison between Mendoza & former number 1 picks like Burrow, Lawrence etc… there’s validity to @danorlovsky7’s assessment. If Arch Manning had declared there’d be discussion on whether or not he should go ahead of Mendoza.

@alexabelcastro2 Doubt Cooper drops out of 1st but anything is possible. NT might be bigger “need” in rd 2 since this is a very deep WR draft and DT talent drops after top 60-70 picks. There will be some real WR gems avail in rd 3. Guys like S Bell, Z Branch, T Hurst, A Williams, etc

I could definitely see it. I had Omar Cooper as a Day 2 guy in my early mock —
and if they go QB at 1, adding a bigger-bodied receiver he’s familiar with makes a lot of sense.
