We have only lost 4 games all season. Scored the most goals in the league but it is Arsenal that is ruining football. Not a poor excuse of a defending champion who spent half a billion and is struggling to finish in the top 5. Certainly not Chelsea who have spent almost ( or even more than ) 2 billion over three years and still don't have a team good enough to finish in the top 5. The English media should make it make sense.

Julian Alvarez has 9 goals in the champions league this season so far. At just 26 years of age, if Arsenal manage to get him for £100m, it will be a massive coup and could help us ensure a successful title defence next season. With Gabriel J and both of Trossard and Martinelli likely to leave, we have a massive chance if we really want him.

Arne Slot has now lost more games managing Liverpool this season (17) than Arteta did for Arsenal last season and this season combined (15). And this is spending about £500m to add to a title winning squad. But some of our fans and Liverpool fans believe Arne Slot is better than Arteta because he won the league with a Jürgen Klopp squad and style.

Arsenal has played 3 semi finals in the Champions league. If we qualify ( an 85% chance ) for the semi finals this season it would be the 4th time and Arteta will be responsible for 2 of that. Arteta has his faults, but let's be realistic, he has become a legend of this club. He took us from the trenches and made us a force to be reckoned with both in the league and in Europe.

Arterta not playing Raya in FA CUP or Carbao final hurts more today. He would have won us both.

🚨Well respected journalist Guillem Balague speaking on Arsenal… I couldn’t have said it any better! The quadruple Arsenal talk started in January if not before. That's setting an impossible bar that's been reached never in English football history. If they win the Premier League, that IS a massive success. Reaching the Champions League quarter-finals, on the back of the semis last year, IS success. They are growing. Comparing them to the greatest sides in history and then criticise them every time they fall short, more than holding them to high standards, is in my opinion just a way to deny them credit for what they're actually achieving. Having said that, the defeat to Southampton is certainly a disappointment. Both statements are true.

All this talk about a treble or quadruple has created an impossible expectation around Arsenal. Very few teams in history have ever reached that level. If Arsenal win the Premier League, that is massive. If they reach the Champions League semi finals, that shows real growth. You can see this team is building something. But they are being compared to the greatest teams ever and criticised whenever they fall short. That does not feel fair, it feels like people are overlooking what this team is actually achieving this season.
