@dbeshada1 I guess my point in the “what about this” is the lack of retaliation in those situations. If Davis doesn’t retaliate the way he did, I imagine we aren’t even discussing this.
Hardy taps him, they shake hands, it’s a nothing burger. Don’t believe Hardy should take the same heat.

Classic “whataboutism” instead of an objective viewpoint. Notice I didn’t try to excuse the retaliation. All I said was Hardy should take the same heat for instigating it.
On Nickal - I was never of a fan of it, and said so when it happened. So, barking up the wrong tree here.
The reverse, of course, is true, though. The same people who complained about Nickal are silent here.

Never heard a peep from anyone about anything when Bo Nickal would help people up after pinning them or when he quite literally spanked Zahid on the ass after beating him at OTT.

Unpopular opinion - Brock Hardy should receive as much heat for instigating the conflict as Davis is taking for retaliating. Both have culpability here. Belittling someone after pinning them in front of 13,000 fans, in the guy’s home gym, is not an “upstanding” move. It doesn’t excuse the retaliation, but it deserves criticism. I’m a huge Brock fan. Love his story, his attitude, and everything else about him. But, the chest tap was a poor decision. Very poor, especially from one of the game’s “elder statesman”.

It would have only been one point but the front head lock that Meyer had on Larkin at the end of the match was laced and illegal. Would have at least given Larkin a restart and a point.
