I love “daylight savings time”. It means it’s almost time to start spending long, fun days at sea, opening with amazing sunrises, and closing with late, crazy sunsets. This was just before 8pm on a Tuesday in September. Perhaps my favorite fishing pictures of all time.

Not exactly sure why KB’s death bothers me like it does. Guessing I was just your classic “super fan”, and will simply miss seeing my guy on the track. Still not believable, even 4 days later….

@notawrestler_x @wrestle_2020 A misunderstanding is not a “lie”. Mis-remembering is a not a “lie”. It’s a mistake. In the end, the shame is that the match was prematurely stopped. Because, if it wasn’t, it’s more likely that not that Robideau finishes third, and Duke first.

@dbeshada1 @wrestle_2020 And you misquoted me and said I said they were "never" locked. That was a lie, Donny. They weren't locked before Robideau went to a hip. They were locked afterward when Robideau was coming back up. Duke did not demonstrate control.

“What football is to Green Bay, or hockey is to Detroit, racing is to Charlotte. Here, racing reaches out to everyone. And, now, everyone is reaching out to racing.” The legendary Bill Weber, in a tribute to the people who died in the Hendrick Motorsports plane crash. Weber’s words ring so true in the wake of the Kyle Busch tragedy.

@iRacingMyers There will never be a another kyle busch. Can someone go on hot streaks yeah, can someone beat some of his records yeah, but nobody will ever have the chrisma, attitude, personality and talent all wrapped in one like kyle busch did. #ForeverRowdy🏁 Forever 1 of 1.

Once you become a parent a video like this hits different. Racing will go on and there will be another Kyle Busch but those two kids have been robbed of so much more. I wish them the strength to keep the pedal down in their lives like their dad did. RIP, Kyle Busch.

Wanted to share this video I got at Atlanta earlier this year after Kyle won the truck race. I loved seeing this happen in the moment and it means more now.

We built a world designed to save time and accidentally created a society that never gets to stop. That’s impressive. That’s not even failure. Thats spectacular failure. That’s artistic failure. We invented the washing machine so nobody had to beat pants against a rock anymore, and somehow the average person now needs three calendars, six chargers, fourteen passwords, two backup codes, and a tiny robot in their pocket screaming that DoorDash has a coupon. This is the future? Your phone updates. Your car updates. Your TV updates. Your watch updates. Your refrigerator wants to join the WiFi. Why? So it can tell you the milk is gone? I have eyes. We eliminated letters, maps, checkbooks, bank lines, movie stores, phone books, film development, and half the errands people used to build a day around. People should be bored out of their skulls. Instead everybody’s “slammed.” Slammed doing what? Clicking boxes to prove they’re not robots. That’s where we are. Human civilization spent 10,000 years inventing tools and the grand finale is a grown man squinting at blurry traffic lights so a website will let him pay the electric bill. Truth is technology taught time how to follow us home.

Erik Jones. William Byron. Christopher Bell. Bubba Wallace. None of these 4 drivers become crown jewel winners or even close to being the racers they are today if not for the mentorship of Kyle Busch and his former team, Kyle Busch Motorsports.
