When I lived in Nigeria, I thought only Nigerians used solar because of lack of electricity. Then I moved to Europe and saw solar in almost every house. While Europeans use solar primarily for climate & energy cost saving, Nigerians use solar because our government is the enemy of light so we have to use solar.

It's not owned by Oyo tho, it was popularized by Oyo. Oyo was an empire that encompassed most of Yorubaland. People seem to forget what "EMPIRE" means. When they say Yoruba then they don't refer to Oyo Ile, they refer to Oyo Empire(most of Yorubaland). Oyo takes the credit tho🤷🏾‍♂️.

The Igbomina crowns is for all Yoruba people. The Ijebu crowns is for all Yoruba people m. The Oyo crown is for all Yoruba people. The Ekiti crown is for all Yoruba people. The Egba crowns is for all Yoruba people. The Awori crowns is for all Yoruba people. That is the definition of Pax Yorubana.
