A pearl, formed in the crucible of the tide, dwells in majesty and elegance, enthroned within its shell. Many gaze upon the waves with longing, yet it remains a treasure for the diver who dares the ultimate descent. The most precious things are always sacred and protected.

@FarhAnonymous_ That's such an arrogant mindset. No one is superior or inferior when it comes to respect. Every soul is equal before Allah and may he guide us

@Halima_Limi No, they think the guy who they didn't like doesn't have any right to get married considering themselves superior.

@Halima_Limi Exactly, this also applies to many other family dynamics. Estranged siblings, Single parents, divorced parents etc. A broken family is one of the saddest things and it really could happen to anyone.

@TheCleanestFit Allahumma Ameen. You spoke the Haqq, JazakAllah khair wa barakAllah feek. May Allah grant me tawfeeq and steadfastness, and may He choose what is best for me and for every sister. As for such accounts, Allah knows who is behind them and who operates them

You need to realize, sister, and this goes for every modest, dignified Muslimah, that social media is among the most toxic environments one can inhabit. These platforms are a breeding ground for every type of person, those spreading falsehoods, those pushing disgraceful ideologies, and those projecting their disgusting desires. Even if a woman tries her best to shield herself from all that, the constant exposure inevitably takes a toll. It erodes Haya bit by bit. And she finds herself becoming desensitized. The things that her nafs would've recoiled from in disgust yesterday start to feel normal today. I've seen sisters, how they used to be, and how their language and character shifted once they were influenced by this environment. They descended step by step, being subtly reshaped by the filth they were exposed to. We ask الله to preserve our sisters, to protect their chastity, and to guard their Haya. But if sisters avoided these spaces as much as possible, it would be better for their Deen.

And no, I'm not hating on you, even though you said such shameful words about a woman from your own religion Islam. You may have spoken out of impulsiveness, but please strive to change yourself for your own betterment. Be a source of goodness, or stay away from such useless talk

The weddings I attend are all gender-separated, and it's so comfortable. We women wear whatever we like, no men can see us, and no woman can even take pictures of us because phones are collected at the entrance. There are solutions, we've just made things harder for ourselves
🇸🇳🇸🇳🇳🇬@H0neyedGrace

I genuinely can't wear the jilbāb or niqāb on my wedding day One gets married only once (not counting second marriages or anything. No one wants their first marriage to fail) I have to be like a literal princess that day lol People who do it are trying because i can't 💁🏼‍♀️

@gharibawanaeema Ameen, may Allah make it easy for every Muslimah. Tbh its very common here and even at small gatherings at home with non-related women, we sometimes have female security to collect phones

@BusariMist95693 If the husband wants to see his bride, they meet in a separate room. Otherwise, she sits in the womens section, so only women can see her

@xwrakle Thank you for being respectful. But no one is arguing about or against polygamy, A'oodhuBillah. Allah has permitted men to marry more than one wife, even if there is that one contract there x.com/i/status/20158…
🦋@Halima_Limi

@jess777j0 But that clause does not forbid the husband from marrying again, it means the wife can seek divorce if he goes against it.

@Halima_Limi Although I can't imagine a polygamous Household for me. But I don't wanna deny it's a possibility. Simply we can't cease a possibility that is halal.

Most women might, but not me. If I'm not his only wife, I won't marry him no matter how handsome and attractive he is, how big his name and reputation are, or how wealthy and knowledgeable he is. Some things are non-negotiable for me.
The Lethal@Fire__Ball_

Most of the women will happily become 2nd 3rd or 4th wife if the guy has ferrari, villas and is RELIGIOUS Women just love materialistic things no matter how RELIGIOUS WOMAN is, she will always desire LUXURY and there is nothing wrong in it

@wafferzzz Ohh that doesn't count as true segregation bcz men were still present. Like even if its just waiters or staff they are still men I've never experienced that. In the weddings I attend... the waitresses and everyone around are women
