No family or individual should earn more in a year than most families can in a lifetime, while working class people struggle to pay rent, groceries, healthcare, and tuition.
When we say billionaires shouldn’t exist, we mean it.

@teja_dash I sadly agree that this front office has sucked at DE….putting a premium on traits and body type over production hasn’t worked out well at all. IMO they won’t abandon their preference for body type and traits but will quit trying to find raw prospects who didn’t produce.

@teja_dash guys, especially having one of the best teams in terms of availability/injury. I wouldn’t expect that anything would have changed to have them consider deviating from something that’s been working well….long arms, young draft picks have worked. Going cheap at RB has not

@teja_dash They decided to pay a premium to ensure they wouldn’t be left shoppping in bargain bin again and having poor production from the RB position now that teams are shutting down big play passing games. I think the Chiefs have been successful drafting young guys and long arm —-

@teja_dash McDuffies arm length wasn't in the bottom 1pct of all NFL CB's ever measured at the combine. He was slightly less than what KC tends to draft at CB. The SLIGHT difference wasn't a dealbreaker.

This would be the 2nd time I can remember us being so reliant on the draft to completely retool our roster
We drafted McDuffie despite his arm length because we needed a day one starter to come right in & contribute at a high level

If he’s anything like the 90% of the 2022 class, then we’ll have him for 4 great years & let him walk
I don’t regret drafting any of those guys 4 years ago, & if Mesidor is what you’d expect out of a polished 1st round Edge, then he’ll be good for 4-8 years with no regrets.

The 9th overall pick has to hit. I think there is an element of uncertainty with Bain despite his production

Bain dominated college football all season, including the title game. To no surprise, a month later his arms measure sub-31”, & now he’s not worth a top-10 pick?
That’s just as dumb as a DE wrecking the NFL all year & the Super Bowl, but missing out on top FA $ cuz of arm length

If your entire analysis around Rueben Bain is "but the arm length" you need to turn on the tape. No player is boiled down to a single threshold or measurement.

@teja_dash @SteinerHereford @ConcernsChief I agree with your assesment here, it's a big reason why I bet you guys on this. The Chiefs have traditionally been a team that puts a lot into arm length. I think Bain is an outstanding player. I won't be mad if they draft him....I just think they stick to their guns on this.

I still love Bain, and would take the bet, but I can see how other prospects might make a team feel safer.

Bain has already been the exception, why can’t that continue?

@teja_dash There is a case to be made that this is a deep DL/DE/Edge draft and that it is a week OT draft. If they went OT at 9 and then at 27 or 40 or both...could get a solid prospect later. Certainly, when you are sitting at 9 and your choice is short arm Bain or highly rated OT :D

Sure, the Chiefs will always want MORE protection for Mahomes. But there is a difference between what you want and what you need.

@klseaboldt Thoughts? I like it overall. 17 looks like Josh Allen. only thing I really hate is the "sleeve" stripes. Modern uniforms do not have sleeves but too many teams (KC included) insist on putting stripe above the armhole that really doesn't fit. x.com/Titans/status/…
