I need Nets fans to enlighten me. I don’t understand the hype around MBJ… his stats weren’t crazy efficient, Louisville was mid, and he’s had back issues already at his age. Why pass on Acuff who seems more of a number 1 option/franchise cornerstone for more of a “safe” option?

I think downplaying Sid to “just a kid playing with his toys” misses what is being implied with him
Look at the scene with his dad, passed out in front of the TV surrounded by beer cans and the dog is afraid to even go in the room,
Couple that with his behavior, he’s a very troubled kid who’s dad likely isn’t very good to him
