Brooklyn Nets G League head coach Mfon Udofia has gotten three NBA call-ups from the Long Island Nets this season, including Malachi Smith and Grant Nelson with the Brooklyn Nets and Jeenathan “Nate” Williams with the Golden State Warriors on a two-way contract.

The Brooklyn Nets are signing Malachi Smith to a second 10-day contract, league sources told @hoopshype. Smith has averaged 6.2 points on 50% shooting from the field and 3-point range, 2.7 assists, and 2.2 rebounds in 19.5 minutes during six games played for the Nets.

Ziaire Williams is playing the best basketball he’s played in his 5-year career. Month of March he’s at 12.8 ppg on 51/51/90 shooting splits. He’s also up to 10.0 ppg for season. Like Sharpe and Minott, he has a team option (at $6.3M) this summer.

I already respected Minott as a gem but this made me respect him even more. He just got here and he already has enough competitiveness to hate the Knicks. Haven’t had many nets be this passionate about the rivalry. I need Minott on this team for the foreseeable future.
