"Tecno Talento Made in Spain" was the first cover in Spanish history to be sold as an NFT. I'll always remember it fondly. A journalist from XLSemanal, Spain's best-selling Sunday magazine and an iconic publication, got up at six in the morning to watch the auction close live with me on our beloved Makersplace platform. I'd been up all night because I'm a night owl, and I also knew that the final minutes of the auction are where everything happens, and that finale started at 6 a.m. The bids started to climb and it ended at 7 a.m., reaching €25,000. I remember the journalist being blown away and having that feeling that many of us have had in the world of crypto art: the feeling of witnessing something important and historic in cultural and artistic terms. The journalist was fascinated, respected and understood our world of digital art, and wrote a great article that is now part of art history. I´m proud to be the creator of this cultural landmark in Spain, my country, but it was a success for everyone who is part of this community. It's a piece of art and cultural history, and we all made it happen.
