I went up stage and the the organisers came to confirm the name.

There was a period in my life when things were really tight. I mean the type where you start calculating transport fare before stepping out of the house.
One afternoon, I had an important place to be, but I was already running late. I checked my account balance and it couldn’t even comfortably afford a ride. I just stood there for a few minutes thinking if I should cancel everything and stay home.
But somehow, I convinced myself to go.
