After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.
May God bless America.

In a move to protect commuters, Pune RTO has asked citizens to report overcharging, misbehaviour or refusal to ply by auto and cab drivers through a WhatsApp complaint service. Passengers can send details on the number 8275330101 to help authorities take action against rogue drivers. Deputy Regional Transport Officer Swapnil Bhosale said notices will be issued to drivers after complaints, and fines may follow if they fail to respond. Officials also urged commuters to share vehicle number, route details or video proof to strengthen cases. ₹19,000 crore.
That is what Banks collected in last 3 years just for not maintaining ‘Minimum Account Balance.’
Not from the rich. Not from big borrowers.
From the poorest accounts in the system.
Their crime? They didn’t have enough money.
A farmer misses the minimum balance - Penalty.
A pensioner withdraws money for medicine - Penalty.
A daily wage worker falls short by a few hundred rupees - Penalty.
The poor keep money in banks for safety. Not to be quietly fined for being poor.
Financial inclusion should protect small savings, not punish small balances.
In Parliament today I proposed ending minimum balance penalties so the banking system stops charging people for their poverty.

Is Raghav Chadha simply observing what the govt is considering, raising it in Parliament, amplifying it via PR, and later claiming credit if it becomes reality? U too doing PR?

In Parliament today I proposed optional Joint filing of Income Tax Returns for married couples. Family A Both spouses earn ₹10 lakh each. Total household income is ₹20 lakh. Tax: zero Family B One spouse earns ₹20 lakh. The other stays home to raise their child. Total household income is ₹20 lakh. Tax: ₹1.92 lakh The only difference is how the salary is split between the two spouses. One roof. One kitchen. One household budget. But when tax time comes, the family disappears. The tax system sees two individuals. A husband and wife become strangers. No clubbing of income or rebates. In Parliament today I proposed optional joint filing of Income Tax Returns for married couples, so families with uneven incomes are not unfairly penalised. If implemented, then Family A and Family B both will pay Zero Tax.

Our children’s future is at risk. Today many kids are getting addicted to social media platforms like Instagram and are being exposed to sexualized or semi-pornographic content at a very young age. This is affecting their mental health, increasing anxiety and depression, and shaping their mindset in unhealthy ways.
Strict action is needed. The Government of India should enforce stronger laws to block pornography websites and regulate harmful content online. Children should not be allowed on social media before the age of 16, and strong age-verification systems must be implemented.
Let’s come together as parents and citizens to demand a safer digital environment for our kids. Protect their innocence, protect their mental health, and protect the future of India’s next generation.
