@BBCNews It is not Rosenior who should have been sacked.
It is the people who appointed him who should be sacked.

@LBC @HenryRiley1 The right-wing media won't stop at bringing down a labour govt regardless of who is in charge

‘It’s going to follow him around like a bad smell.’
@HenryRiley1 believes Starmer will struggle to fully recover from the Peter Mandelson saga.
English

@Mendelpol For years past, London has hosted massed parades, of thousands of people spewing out hatred of Jews, whilst Mayor Khan't has stood & watched.
He is now reaping what has been sown.
English

@KemiBadenoch Still here, Smarmer?
Boris was drummed out of office for a great deal less.

@LizaRosen0000 That particular politician in the West, successful presided over the only Conservative gain in the 2024 British general election, in her long-standing safe Labour seat of Leicester East.
English

Never forget!
This is how politicians in the West demonized Jews to gain popularity among Muslims.

Liza Rosen@LizaRosen0000
British politician is furious that Israel dared to stop Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, Yemen, and Syria from finishing what they started on October 7th—the very task Hitler failed to complete. Please remember: the conflict in the Middle East is not about borders or land—it’s about Israel’s very right to exist as a Jewish state, and its refusal to let its enemies carry out their threats to destroy the Jewish people. So here’s a simple rule: every time she says “Israel,” read it as “the Jews,” “the Jewish nation,” or “the Jewish state.” Only then will you truly understand the evil behind her rhetoric.

@TheGriftReport Given the way the judiciary acts these days, it is little short of miraculous that he got jail-time at all, rather than a suspended sentence.

Eritrean migrant Thomas Mesai Siyoum, who had only just arrived in the UK, stabbed a man in the leg in a frenzied attack in Oxford.
He accused the victim of talking about him behind his back, then plunged a knife into his right inner thigh.
The victim’s life was saved only because a passer-by used a T-shirt as a tourniquet.
Siyoum pleaded guilty to unlawful wounding and possessing a knife in public.
Jailed for three years and one month.
THREE YEARS ?!?!?! WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!!

@afneil Thank God for the 22nd Amendment - the two-term time-bar Amendment, that is.

Indeed. It does seem to be real. Very, very scary.

I must say I had to doublecheck this was real.

Reform Defector Rosindell Loses High Court Bid to Retake Constituency Office
order-order.com/2026/03/30/ref… via @guidofawkes
I am very surprised that this made it to Court.
Conservative Party premises are for the use of Conservative MPs, not Reform ones.
A poor use of £23k

@SandyofSuffolk It sounds as if she is one of that endangered species, a Green who is actually green, not red.
Welcome to the Watermelon Party - green on the outside, red on the inside.
English

The Green Party.
I have a friend who's a councillor for the Green Party.
She's a wonderful hard working woman. She helped householders whose houses were flooded a couple of years ago, stayed up all night helping them pump their houses out and move furniture; helped volunteers clear the river of debris; got all new planters and bins for the village square; attends all village events; opposes all development applications on farmland and green belt; gives immediate attention to any problems people are having; got new road signage.
I could go on and on. She'd actually make a great MP. She cares about her village, her people and the environment.
Unfortunately, she's not standing for re-election because her party, she says, has been infiltrated by lunatics and anti-Semites.
Isn't that sad. ☹️

@LordAshcroft @NAM_London @VC_and_GC_Assoc Very good news.
Lord Ashcroft has shown why he has been a successful entrepreneur, bringing this attribute to his philanthropic activities, as well as his commercial ones.

STARMER’S JURY TRIAL AXE BOMBSHELL
U-TURN DEMANDED AFTER HIS OWN 1992 REPORT ADMITTED JUDGE-ONLY TRIALS CAUSED WRONGFUL CONVICTIONS!
Keir Starmer faces fresh fury over Labour’s Courts Bill: jury trials scrapped for all cases likely under 3 years (single judge decides), magistrates’ powers hiked to 18 months.
But the PM co-wrote a Haldane Society report slamming Northern Ireland’s Diplock courts for exactly this, “failing to secure reliable convictions”, reduced cross-examination, and “enabling wrongful convictions without procedural error”.
Labour MP Karl Turner: “Keir knows full well this is unjust, unworkable and unnecessary.”
Tory MP Nick Timothy: “Read your own report and stop the attack on 800-year-old jury rights!”
Backlog excuse or rights betrayal? Revolt growing!

@HenMazzig I believe that this judgement is significantly vulnerable to be overturned on appeal.
English

I’m blown away by this quote from the U.K. judge who just decided Palestine Action is not a terrorist group:
“The nature and scale of Palestine Action’s activities falling within the definition of terrorism had not yet reached the level, scale and persistence to warrant proscription.”
So far, Palestine Action’s chants hate slogans that incite violence against Jews, destroys property, and attacked a woman with a sledgehammer.
But it’s not YET at the right scale?
Why do we have to wait for a problem to get even worse before solving it?

@NickFerrariLBC @LBC Much sense from Zahawi, right up to the part where he says his political future plan is - what Nigel Farage says it is.
From a success self-made man, this is quite incredible.

@Emsbarr @emilyhewertson @reformparty_uk @TimesRadio Having listened to the Times Radio piece, I hope that @emilyhewertson continues to choose the Conservative Party, noting that its leader is looking more like the adult in the room.
Reform is looking less like a Tory Party tribute act & more like a Tory Party reject act.

Not in Britain? No NHS. Just ask your mates in Dublin.
