@PandaKingEX Numbers go up is a consequence (not a goal) of "raising" rpgs like pokemon and its not necessarily a bad thing. Seems like you’re trying to say if you like that genre you’re simple. It’s not bad design to make you objectively stronger for training.

People interpreting RPGs as just seeing numbers go up rather than the actual utilization of mechanics and RPG systems is the worst mindset for the genre.

@jetjaguar2236 So you want and RPG where you don't get noticeably stronger as you progress? You want to be 40 levels higher than the 1st enemy in the game and not be overpowered for them? Cause that what that sentence means, when you don't add any clarification.
