Was just chatting with some folks about how I defiantly marched maskless, cigar in mouth and drink in hand down Duval Street because Fantasy Fest was canceled during covid and was followed by hundreds. The cops simply watched. It's just another time that I stuck my neck out.

@podiatristdon I get beat-up pretty bad because of my advocacy and my case but I still support law enforcement as it is necessary for a civil society. I resent the phrase, "back the blue," as I prefer, "back the true blue." The true blue protect and serve their fellow citizens not politicians.

This is why I don’t scream the default line “back the blue” because there are a lot of shitty cops out there. I know… I live in Miami. His songs about the cops are bangers too.

The Afroman Trial. -Cops raid Afromans house for bullshit reasons. -Steal money, break his door, fuck his house up. -No criminality found whatsoever, no charges at all pressed on Afroman. -Afroman spends the next 3 years making songs that make fun of all the officers involved by name, even using footage of the raid from his own CCTV cameras. -Songs had titles like "Randy Walters is a son of a bitch" and "Lick Em Low Lisa" accusing one of the officers of being a lesbian and sleeping with the other officers wives. -During the raid one officer looked like he was about to eat some lemon pound cake sitting on Afromans counter, Afroman made a whole album calling the officer fat. -The cops get mad and file a lawsuit for defamation. -Afroman turns up to court in a whole American flag suit. -Officers performatively mald and cry while listening to the songs really trying to oversell how badly the songs upset them. -One officer was suing because Afroman made a whole song about him saying he was fucking the officers wife. When the officer was asked if Afroman was really fucking his wife, he said "I don't know". Nuking his own case and establishing that there is a non-zero chance that Afroman might actually be fucking his wife. -As his only witness for the trial, Afroman brought a deputies EX FUCKING WIFE. -The jury ruled completely in favour of Afroman. This entire thing has been a great win for free speech and absolutely fucking hilarious.

@MichelleMaxwell It's wonderful for those that can afford to be smug and principled but for those struggling just to buy groceries, it ain't no fun. I have a feeling that many who supported Mr Trump are asking themselves serious questions if this inflation/higher prices continues much longer.

I am more than happy to pay more for gas for a brief period if it means President Trump realigns the world for the better. Anyone else feel this way?

Appreciate Glenn Reib putting into words what I have been thinking lately. I have been duped by AI or fake info a few times and it is extremely frustrating. Dear Sane America, Let’s start with the obvious…nothing is real anymore. Or at least, it doesn’t feel like it. Every video, every picture, every “breaking” moment that flashes across your screen now comes with a built-in question: is this actually real…or is this something cooked up by some guy with an app and too much time? We used to trust our eyes. Now our eyes need fact-checking. And that's the part that should really concern people, but somehow doesn’t. This should’ve made everyone more careful. More skeptical. More thoughtful. Instead? It did the exact opposite. It made people easier to fool. Because now we’ve got a nonstop flood of AI-generated garbage, fake videos, fake voices, fake scenarios and people are swallowing it whole. No pause. No hesitation. No curiosity. Just immediate belief followed by immediate sharing. Like they’re doing the world a service by spreading something they didn’t even take ten seconds to question. It’s not even the technology that’s shocking anymore…it’s the reaction to it. Somewhere along the way, critical thinking didn’t just slip, it disappeared. Nobody asks where something came from. Nobody checks if it makes sense. Nobody even slows down long enough to process what they’re looking at. If it feels right, it must be right. If it sounds convincing, it must be true. That’s not intelligence, that’s impulse dressed up as confidence. And speaking of confidence… can we talk about the sudden explosion of experts? Because apparently, overnight, social media turned into a global command center. People who couldn’t point to half these countries on a map last week are now breaking down Middle Eastern war strategy like they’ve been sitting in high-level briefings their whole lives. Explaining troop movements. Predicting responses. Declaring what should happen next. It would be impressive…if it wasn’t completely ridiculous. You don’t know the history. You don’t know the players. You don’t know the complexity. But somehow you know exactly what should be done. That’s not insight, that’s noise. And it’s loud. That’s the real problem. The loudest voices are often the least informed, but they speak with absolute certainty. No doubt. No hesitation. Just confident nonsense delivered like fact. And if you question it? Now you’re the problem. Now you’re the one who “doesn’t get it.” Meanwhile, outrage has become a full-time hobby. People aren’t even reacting to truth anymore, they’re reacting to whatever hits them emotionally the fastest. Angry? Share it. Scared? Share it. Shocked? Definitely share it. Whether it’s real doesn’t even enter the equation. It just has to feel real. And the algorithm loves it. It feeds it. It rewards it. The crazier something is, the faster it spreads. The more emotional it is, the more people engage. Truth doesn’t stand a chance against something designed to trigger you. So here we are…stuck in this strange digital circus where fake looks real, real looks fake, and nobody seems entirely sure which is which anymore. But that doesn’t stop anyone from jumping in, forming opinions, and broadcasting them like they’ve cracked the code. And maybe that’s the most frustrating part of all…Not that people don’t know. It’s that they don’t care that they don’t know. So before the next video, the next headline, the next “expert take” flies across your screen…just pause. Ask yourself one simple question: Am I actually informed…or am I just reacting? Because right now, a whole lot of people think they’re thinking… …but they’re just scrolling. Glenn Reib

I think older folks need to start reading the room and start having some serious conversation with young folks meaning 20-somethings and 30-somethings because many of them have had enough of being told how they should think and that they're lazy.

@elonmusk It would be nice if folks like yourself put their money where their mouth is and supported victims advocacy groups and victims rights groups and even individuals. I have essentially been denied justice because I could not afford to do so but I keep fighting and will not stop.

@MagneticNorse However, I've encountered several sexual predators face to face and just because they're not allowed to carry firearms and in some cases even knives over a certain length does not mean that they do not do so. They also too often do not register at their real address. Good joke.

Just a reminder: The media said it wasn't Biden's fault when gas prices spiked because they're "set globally" — they called it "Putin's price hike." When prices were low under Trump, they said he "doesn't deserve credit" because presidents "can't control gas prices." But now that prices are up under Trump they’re happy to blame him.

@podiatristdon I'm on gasbuddy at the moment and not the dox myself but it's hard to find in my vicinity, gas under $4 per gallon and I'm in Florida. I still remember those campaign promises of gas under $2 and then after the election stating that it was but that was the wholesale price.

@mattvanswol @elonmusk @JessePeltan I'm currently seeking work but I'm older and recovering from major surgery. I need plenty of educated young folks also seeking work but they don't even want to bother with jobs that have little future of advancement or that do not support a household on a single income.
