@bbob43265 @ligerzerosyren Because twilight princess is a better designed game that’s pretty consistent with itself in comparison to skyward sword. So I’m curious, how’s it worse?

@HydroGecko @ligerzerosyren Why is that everyone’s favorite assumption that someone hasn’t played a game just because they have a different opinion on it? Yes I’ve played pretty much every Zelda game except some of the handhelds and wind waker

I don’t even agree with their original post, but did you even play Twilight Princess? Skyward Sword is the game that sure, has its good elements, but has a shit ton of padding / busy work and filler the actively make the game less engaging. I can’t say the same about twilight princess because for the most part, that game is incredibly consistent in how good it is whether it’s the dungeons, fighting, characters, story, etc. it’s genuinely a great game.

What you’re listing would do nothing but ruin the original game and what made it special in the first place. I’m not denying that ocarina of time is this imperfect game, it has its issues, and if they were to make a remake (again) they could be resolved more. Otherwise, we should be getting twilight princess instead because that’s one of the few Zeldas that aren’t on the switch, and it’s also an underrated gem that deserves some more love.
Zelda Lore@ZeldaLoreYT

People saying that "OOT got a remake for the 3DS" fail to see the big picture. This has the potential of being a full modern reimagining Updated lore (Hylia worship, botw race cultures, Fi in master sword, etc), Open world, new areas, Voice acting, better graphics, and more.

@SlLENTPRINCESS Honestly, Link would be happy that his movie is not being made by Illumination because of how dog shit their storytelling is.

Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate the fact that StarFox is in this, and I still have some hope for the Super Mario Galaxy movie, galaxy is one of my favorite games of all time and easily my favorite Mario game. But I don’t like the fact that some of what we’re seeing is literally the same filler and nostalgic key dangling slop that the first animated Mario movie was filled to the brim with. I’m hoping there’s still a good story and the movies actually more focused than the last, but I don’t know at this point. As for StarFox, I don’t even know why he’s here because the only relation he has to this movie or game is also being in space and that’s it. And I really hope there isn’t going to be some stupid shit like a Nintendo Cinematic Universe because I don’t know what they’d even do, or why they want everything connected to swipe the fact that most of these franchises are their own separate continuities.

The fact that this is an actual possibility now kinda pisses me off now because what the fuck are they even gonna do in this if it happens? We don’t need a Nintendo Cinematic universe.

Subspace Emissary is complete separate from those separate games, and is its own separate continuity. A interconnected Nintendo Cinematic Universe would not work and would honestly be a dumb idea, especially as soon as you implement Zelda or Metroid into the mix. And Illumination is the last company that should be handling something like this because they cannot tell an actual well-written story with some actual nuance for shit, and even the first mario movie they made does not work because its filled with key-jangling references, nostalgia, and mostly one-note characters.

You’re ignoring the fact that in Spider-Man 2, even if he had his own personal desires, Peter actively tried to continue to be Spider-Man and save the day, he didn’t want to stop using his powers for good. it isn’t till after trying and failing to find the source of the problem, he’s outright told that maybe he isn’t meant to be Spider-Man, that is when he stops being a hero. Even during that mugging scene, you can see the guilt on his face of not being able to help, with the absence of Spider-Man constantly appearing in his life, even if personal things are going well for him. There’s an actual reason as to why he stops being Spider-Man in that movie, he didn’t try to stop. You should read my thread that I wrote about why the comparison doesn’t work. This version of Peter in the MCU already knows about putting responsibility over priorities, especially when the world is at stake and he’s asked for help. He’s not gonna sit there and say no just because of his own personal feelings or “having cold feet.” Keep in mind as well. He’s already put being Spider-Man over personal things in his life, even in his first movie. And Spider-Man doesn’t even want to live up to Iron Man. In homecoming, he even says he doesn’t wanna join the team and he wants to do his own thing and be the friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man that he is. And again in infinity war, he had no problem, stepping up when the world was at stake, because how can he be the friendly neighborhood spiderman if there’s no neighborhood, how can he go on vacation and be with friends if there won’t be a vacation and friends. You’re ignoring my points.

@HydroGecko @A21starman @carollarzon @SpiderManMedia_ Yeah. But that’s a Peter not in his right mind. In sm 2, his subconscious shut him down, and that allowed him to even ignore things like a mugging, despite having the ability to call for help. In ffh, he’s not just being lazy, he’s struggling, he’s got cold feet about avenging

If you don't like Far From Home, then you misunderstood the film very badly. Tobey’s Spider-Man literally quit in Spider-Man 2, but you won’t complain about that because let me guess, he still in New York? For someone who has “I never miss” on their bio, clearly missed the whole point of the movie.

Just because it’s not shown in the MCU doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. There was never any intention of having this kind of what if story. Jon Watts and Marvel have literally stated that they wanted to focus on a Peter who was already Spider-Man and not focus on the origin story for the third time. The whole point was to focus on a Spider-Man who is already Spider-Man, like how more recently The Batman (2022) didn’t show the origin story of Bruce Wayne, samething last year with Superman. There was never any intention for Peter to not experience trauma in order to become Spider-Man, because if he was as selfish as he was in this movie, you wouldn’t see him prioritizing responsibility and saving lives in any previous movie he’s been in. Homecoming has its shortcomings as well, but I don’t see Peter deciding to prioritize his crush, homecoming, and school over saving lives and stopping the vulture. I don’t see Peter ignoring an alien ship coming to earth and attacking New York in Infinity war.

@HydroGecko @carollarzon @SpiderManMedia_ Uncle Ben’s death in the MCU isn’t related to Spider-Man or Peter, so it by definition hasn’t impacted him the same way. A Peter without this trauma, but still go out and do good, in a world where there are pre established heroes, would want some kind of balance.

And Uncle Ben was supposed to be in the MCU, they wanted to skip the origin story. They wanted to move onto Spider-Man already being Spider-Man without telling the origin story again for a third time. Even still, this movie is inconsistent with Civil War and even homecoming because you can still see Peter prioritize responsibility. They didn’t decide to have this great responsibility moment till no way home, where the line doesn’t work because Peter is already Spider-Man and using his powers for responsibility, and talking about that film is another can of worms. The whole “this trilogy is an origin story” thing was never intentional.

I do know the psychology of Spider-Man, the problem is that this takes place AFTER Peter has already been a hero. He’s already been using his powers for good and saving the day. You’re ignoring the blatantly obvious inconsistencies within the movie, and you’re trying to justify it by saying he “doesn’t know responsibility” when he does, it’s been shown multiple times in every movie he’s been in before this.

Peter only knew Mysterio for like a day at best, and giving this man access to Weaponized surveillance system just because he’s insecure. And there’s more he’s done in the film beyond this one moment, even if this moment is stupidly outrageous. Like the fact that he is trying to prioritize his vacation over saving the world, the drone scene where he almost sends a bunch of drones to kill a student on the bus and actively uses his powers out in the open without anyone noticing to stop said drones, as well as literally jumping out of the bus while it’s still driving and somehow getting back in safely, having his mask off in what he believed was a public bar

I do understand what you’re saying, the problem is it’s out of character. It’s been shown many times that Peter is willing to step in to be a hero even when it’s unexpected, and his priorities have always been him being Spider-Man and saving the day and trying to balance it out with his personal life. If the world is at stake, and they’re requesting his help specifically because they don’t have anyone else to ask, Peter would not turn that down and actively try and say he’s on vacation.

@HydroGecko @SpiderManMedia_ How hard is it to understand what I'm saying? He didn't help because he had his priorities. He thought he could be a normal guy and enjoy vacation. He wasnt ready to take on the bigger responsibility until he realise there was no other way.
