ILO Somalia training course for Trade Unions &Cooperatives on 'Organizing, Advocacy and Campaigning Skills' in Mogadishu. PS MoLSA Mr Hassan Sharif is the Chief Guest for opening session. Workshop is facilitated by Mr Mban Kabu Specialist for Workers Activities from the ILO.

Through the Somalia Youth Employment Project, the ILO is providing technical support to @SomaliaMolsa & @MoPIED_Somalia @DNS_MoPIED to undertake the Somalia Labour Force Survey -2019.The survey is a national cross-sectional survey & is expected to be completed by end of June 2019

H.E Minister Salah Jama leading the discussions on the 2019 Labour Force Survey (LFS), co-implemented by @SomaliaMolsa, @MoPIED_Somalia, @DNS_MoPIED with technical backstopping from the ILO. LFS plays an essential role in the efforts of the country to achieve decent work for all.

Key focus areas for the Somalia National Employment Policy include, Improved governance systems for employment; promote the growth of micro,small and medium sized enterprises; promote the empowerment intensity of key sectors of the somali economy @SomaliaMolsa @Salahjama10
