The Global Alliance to Spare Water from Armed Conflicts (#GASWAC) is uniting efforts to protect💧water infrastructure and resources from the impact of armed conflicts by strengthening respect for international law. Today, members adopted the work plan for 2026.

🇱🇮 with 13 States – incl. 🇨🇭– shared a draft resolution on Article 27.3 of the Charter, which essentially forbids a state from voting when party to a dispute. Responding to a call in the Pact of the Future, this initiative is a concrete step towards its implementation.
