No matter what the British press and RRs are trying to sell, and obviously they aren't trying that much, King's Charles visit in the US is his swan song IMO. I don't think he would be ever able to visit back. Trump used it to make himself look better, stronger, firmer and he succeeded. No matter what the press says, he and Melania looked so much better. Charles looks weak, frail, so tired and defeated. Cancer obviously took a huge toll on him. He looked uncared in most of the pics, his clothes, nails, his face resigned. He gave a speech in Congress that was almost completely identical to Prince Harry's. The similarities were noticed so fast everyone immediately started mentioning it. Apart from that, the visit had no impact. Trump gave King Charles grace, in his probably last big US state visit. He and Camilla looked pitiful, compare Charles to Queen's Elizabeths dominant presence who gave an image of greatness. Trump made sure at every turn that Britain is a small country, even after Charles left, he attacked the UK and it's government, refers to them as some beggars who need him to gift them something, like the whiskey tariffs thing. As for Camilla, I'm so glad that this woman represents the UK. Lazy, awkward, absolutely unaware, couldn't form a coherent line, she constantly looked confused on what to do, where to stand. No charisma or grace whatsoever. Both she and Charles were looking like a sorry couple. Charles looking so miffed, angry. There were no people cheering, no crowds waiting. Charles realising times and people have surpassed him and his horrible choices. He and his wife appearing as irrelevant caricatures, with the British press trying to sell as something they could never be, relevant and in tune with today's old. The CNN poll revealing Americans don't care about the Royal family. Americans cared about Princess Diana. From the moment she appeared. Even now almost 30 years after her death. Since she seized to exist around the Royal family and that image, they don't care. And that reality hits more than ever after this trip. And more reality checks are coming, considering William Parker Bowles and Kate are so much lazier and unseen.

Requiring schools to fly the Union Jack and display a portrait of King Charles III shouldn’t be controversial. In most countries, patriotism is normal. It’s encouraged. It’s part of growing up.
