Earlier this week, Michelle and I called our friend @KamalaHarris. We told her we think she’ll make a fantastic President of the United States, and that she has our full support. At this critical moment for our country, we’re going to do everything we can to make sure she wins in November. We hope you’ll join us.

Award Alert 🚨 🔔 A few weeks ago I received an email from my colleague of notification that I'd won an International Award. I was working on my upcoming film on women and elections, in the middle of it that I couldn't stop to breath and celebrate this, also because it was preliminary notification as the awarding organisation was going to share some further communication. I also needed to take it in because it's been years since I'd received an award for my continued work for women and girls with @tagalife seems to me as though both the organisation and I won the award from the text of the award. Which I believe along with all the wonderful ladies I work with as secretariat and also our clients/beneficiaries, they are all deserving of this recognition. Thank you @TIAW for recognising my work for #women and #girls in this side of the hemisphere, a work which I call a blessing and a curse. A curse because it's never easy and so much misunderstood and not readily authenticated sometimes by the very people you wish to serve especially under the influence of negative religious and cultural practices and beliefs. A blessing because it is the calling of God for justice upon my life that I would never trade for anything in this life. If God was to ask me to ask for another calling, I dont know that I would still choose this tough and hard work, but I am truly grateful that I get to do it, that I get to truly help women and children and advance their rights on this their God given planet to maximise their potential and advance the great commission. So grateful for all those who support me in the women's movements at home here in Zimbabwe, in the region and globally. I'm grateful for the men and women who stand with me, the government ministries that work with us to change laws and advance the rights of girls and women. For my church for standing with me in prayer and for creating prayer platforms where I also get to lead prayer for such work! For all the programmes that we've carried out that change peoples' lives. For all the supporters and donors who see the value in my work and support our work.
