@SquareSupport By "your own ordering flow", do you mean my own ordering page, instead of the Square Online Store? I didn't consider that option. Would it be possible to have it share the same online store cart?

@SquareSupport I need to manage preorder settings for a category of items, not individually. I thought this would be possible via the API but the preorder settings appear to be completely hidden. Please message me with options. Thanks

@ApplyWiseAi @SquareSupport Do you mean scale better when building a custom ordering interface? Is that because Sq may change how their group/tag/categories work in the catalog, whereas custom attrs should remain unaltered?

@SquareSupport Sure, but I'd hate to waste more time. I just want to be able to add holiday/special/any menus to appear first. Can't even modify the Nav bar order. So easy on Shopify (but Shopify POS horrible), Square POS is great, just online store is a headache for a couple basic things.

@Square @SquareSupport PLEASE Make it a top priority to allow re-ordering of categories/menus. It is such a basic, nay essential, feature. That you make it impossible, without recreating all the menus, is insane, lazy, infuriating! Sighhhh. If only @jack knew, maybe he'd fix it?

@SquareSupport Changing the order of Menues in your new Menu editing section (see pic). Or, changing order of categories in the the online store ordering page. Either should be possible. I'm still in chat support btw, each person thinks the other department is the one to help. It's crazy bad.

@square @SquareSupport absolute nightmare trying chat support. Simple issue of not being able to arrange menu order for the online store. Bounced between at least 6 departments over 1.5 hours. Zero answers. Maybe I'll stick with Shopify afterall? :(
