Canada’s public broadcaster CBC has officially joined the European Broadcasting Union. This now makes them eligible to participate in Eurovision, and it is reported that they are very likely to do so in 2027.

Canada 🇨🇦 is expected to debut at Eurovision 2027. CBC has reportedly been exploring the possibilities, including the financial aspects and (local) interest. Those efforts appear to have been successful, as CBC has now secured EBU membership.
