I love twitter. It's a safe quiet space where I can forget my ivy league environmental systems degree, 30 years EPA experience, time on the national hydrofracking workgroup and be lectured to by someone who just watched a YouTube video.

The reason is because Israel didn’t commit genocide, @BernieSanders. Not a single accusation of genocide has been able to establish that the elements are present. They’ve all shifted the analysis to fit their predetermined conclusion. That tells us more about the accusers than the accused.
Marco Foster@MarcoFoster_

Bernie Sanders: “To give another 20K bombs to a country which committed genocide in Gaza happens to be among many other things, forget the moral issue, happens to be in violation of American law. You don’t sell arms to countries that violate international law and human rights. Clearly Israel has done that. Why anybody in their right minds would want to continue funding Israel is beyond me”

Why is everyone surprises? The West regularly targets journalists. If we count the Donbass, Gaza, West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, hundreds of Journalists have been murdered by the West. Free speech or some such fairy tale. x.com/i/status/20346…

Something that boils my blood is when airheads say, "Iran is an ancient civilization being destroyed by a settler-colonial state." 🚨 FACTS: 1. Cyrus the Great, the most revered king of ancient Iran, was about as close to a "Zionist" as you could get in 530 BC. Israel named a street in Jerusalem after him. 2. Judaism is much older than Islam, and Islam and Christianity would not exist if Judaism never existed. 3. Arab Muslims brought Islam to the civilization of Iran by VIOLENT FORCE. 4. Iran is an ancient civilization that is OCCUPIED by a terrorist, Islamism-first, Iran-last regime. 5. Zionist Jews have lived in Iran far longer than Islam has existed. 6. The land of Israel and the profoundly deep Jewish historical, cultural, and religious connection to it are much older than Islam. 7. Israel is bombing the Islamist regime and not Iranian civilization.

$200 billion would pay for free college for every American, $10 day childcare, 1000 new trade schools, the 40% federal share of special needs education and a lot more. What are we even doing here? MAGA is now Iran first?

Dems should be for the working class, not the Epstein class. I plead guilty to coining the phrase.
Jon Favreau@jonfavs

In this op-ed, @ThirdWayTweet actually argues that "Epstein class" is an "age-old trope" pushed by "Jew-haters on the left."

Mamdani’s team had every chance to airbrush their radical past; scrub the likes, disavow the statements, create daylight from the extremism. They didn’t. Why? Because New York City was primed for it. No public supporter has flinched, apologized, or expressed a shred of buyer’s remorse. He and his wife told us exactly who they were. His supporters simply agree. The same brazen transparency holds for Nazi-tits Platner, who keeps racking up Democratic endorsements despite the ink and the history. They’re not hiding anymore. No more soft-focus moderation, no more plausible deniability. The ideology is out in the open, unapologetic, and increasingly normalized on the left. They’re screaming who they are and what they intend. The lines have never been sharper. There’s no fog of nuance left to exploit. So it’s not about Rama being a racist long before October 7, or Mamdani supporting terrorism, or Platner having such a bad day he had to attack victims of rape. It’s about how damn mainstream it has become to be the absolute worst person as long as you claim your spot on the left.

Tel Aviv was literally purchased. The fact that Israelis are not even allowed to maintain what their predecessors acquired through 100% legitimate means exposes this movement for what it really is. These same folks accuse others of genocide while fantasizing about it themselves
Remi Kanazi@Remroum

Tel Aviv shouldn’t exist. Israel shouldn’t exist. The concept of Israeli should be abolished. The land is Palestine. The people are Palestinian. The land should be returned to its people. The only way forward is through the dismantlement of Zionism, from the river to the sea

When politicians say “AIPAC $,” what they really mean is Jewish pro-Israel Americans. Dont be fooled. Those who take the support but now don't want it should refund all the donations they benefited from!

@BarryESharp @davidfrum Reading is fundamental. Notification is not COORDINATION. And failure to coordinate makes Trump look stupid for not understanding the question, and weak by trying to coordinate a joint response to the blockade after the fact

David Frum, Your ongoing complaints about President Trump shaming the office grow more tiresome with each repetition. The record on Operation Epic Fury, launched February 28, 2026, is clear from CENTCOM, IAEA updates, and independent assessments: 86-95 percent destruction of enrichment capacity at Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan; elimination of Supreme Leader Khamenei and top IRGC commanders; over 90 percent reduction in ballistic missile and drone capabilities; and a documented setback of at least 21 months to Iran's nuclear breakout timeline. Pre-strike inventories showed 440.9 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60 percent, material for multiple weapons after JCPOA-enabled accumulation and blocked inspections. Iran's annual proxy funding exceeded $1 billion to groups that attacked shipping, Gulf states, and downed PS752, killing Canadian citizens. You, as Bush speechwriter, coined the "axis of evil" framing that included Iran and helped justify the Iraq invasion. That operation removed Saddam but produced power vacuums, trillions in costs, and a stronger Iran through regional shifts, verifiable outcomes that your neoconservative approach delivered. Trump's action was the opposite: limited, precision strikes with explicit objectives of capability degradation and non-proliferation, no ground occupation, no nation-building experiment. Retaliatory disruptions raised Brent crude above $108 per barrel and Canadian gasoline prices, but these costs stem directly from decades of failed diplomacy and restraint that allowed the threat to mature. Trump's reference to Pearl Harbor in explaining operational surprise to Japan's Prime Minister was a direct, unvarnished historical parallel about the element of surprise in conflict. Japan understands that history as the former aggressor in 1941; the United States now applied calibrated force against a regime that posed an imminent proliferation risk. Your focus on diplomatic etiquette ignores the measurable security gains and the lives already lost to Iranian actions, including Canadian ones. Sovereign realism evaluates policy by citizen impacts, not establishment sensitivities. The strikes produced results where your generation's interventions produced quagmires. Evidence from post-strike assessments confirms reduced launch rates and proxy capacity. For Canada, this underscores the need to address our own vulnerabilities through unlocked energy projects and reduced regulatory barriers rather than endless multilateral posturing. Your selective shame rings hollow against these facts. Evidence over excuses. Precision over propaganda. Citizens first. Canada First. Barry Sharp @BarryESharp π ≈ 3.14159
