@KentBeck Cost of Delay. It's very interesting how they did the analysis but i can tell you after then years they now do prioritization differently.

@htmx_org FYI, didn't know it existed! (developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web…). I, once again, removed js dependency.
English

@htmx_org I need to learn how to adapt htmx as a paradigm. If I want to use an advanced component, there could some of these issues (for example now I need to load the js so that a datepicker can work). Not really sure htmx can work with this kind of stuff without some tricks.
English

@htmx_org hi! I have a question. I'm using htmx and I find it very easy to use but I have one issue. In order to reuse some components whenever I load html I also load a script tag component, unfortunately I get error because it gets redeclared every time I click.
English

@htmx_org I cannot because the script makes sense only when the html is present, I can convert in variable maybe.
English

@IsTDDDeadYet can you load the component script tag in your initial head?
alternatively, a dynamic loading of the script and a global var to track if it is loaded could work (ugly, but it'll work)
English

@profgalloway hi, in one of the latest Pivot episodes you said chargpt suggested a very good book that you and the people you were talking to didn't think about. What was the title?
English

@cg_thomsen @MicrosoftTeams Because I switched to Android now and have the same issue.
English

@cg_thomsen @MicrosoftTeams TBH I think it's because you use an Android. I don't have that issue when using an iPhone.
English

I love getting notifications from @MicrosoftTeams on my phone and then getting an in-app notification about the same message when I open Teams through the notification… and then once more when I open my laptop from sleep.

@rajeshmathur @johncutlefish If you right handed, with your logic, they will choose of of their top right numbers.
English

@johncutlefish Indeed it is incredible.
It is plausible that many (most) will select the top most number for the ease of selection, or for the sake of selection.
I guess that most of us (I don't have data to prove or disprove) score places less only when we get a terrible service.

@alexandravbotez They don't understand the Botez Gambit.
English

“Not by winning games” 🤣 okay, you didn’t have to go that hard

@katafrakt_pl It can go wrong also because the company I don't think can force you per say.

Imho this is true, if we go for wfh, we will see the market becoming global and we will see, slow but steady, the location to be less important when deciding the salary for a remote worker. Although it's undeniable that last 2 years salaries went crazy.
