@BryonyDianexx What often surprises writers is how easily that kind of audience can translate into readers when the story is eventually compiled into full books or a series release. Sounds like you’ve already built a nice foundation around the project.

@Isantostore The Grandma episodes were originally written to garner followers along with shorts, poems etc. xx

Does anyone else plan their writing career? I'm seriously considering not querying lit agents anymore. Since the screenplays are going berserk, and I have Take a Chance being considered by my producer, wouldn't it be more sensible to use publishers owned by their companies?

@BryonyDianexx That’s actually a really smart approach. Episodic content, shorts and poems are great for attracting readers and building a following around a story world.

@BryonyDianexx That’s really fun way to build a story. Episodic releases tend to keep readers very engaged because they come back for the next part If you already have people following the episodes on your page, that’s a pretty strong foundation for the trilogy once the full books are compiled.

@BryonyDianexx Projects like that usually benefit from having the books visible early, because a growing readership can sometimes strengthen interest from producers and studios. Either way, it’s impressive you’re balancing both worlds.

@Isantostore I'm a full-time scriptwriter so time really is in short supply. The books are a hobby at this point, although I'm endeavoring to get a fantasy trilogy into production.

@BryonyDianexx That makes sense. Scriptwriting alone can eat up a huge amount of time. A fantasy trilogy going into production sounds exciting though.
