
We have to look at this on the positive side for the industry: we need to know which way the law believes these types of cases (along with copyright, compensation, training, etc.) should go. These need answers one way or the other. We're in a void at the moment. AI music seems pretty clear (don't use unlicensed music), video has hardly been a problem so far, and art has had a few cases, so each part of genAI needs clarity on where it stands.
