Though I was born into a Christian home, I became zealous for the truth, to learn it and to unlearn anything about God that wasn’t truly Him. God saw that hunger, and He began teaching me through the Holy Spirit. This is why it’s possible for someone to become a Christian today and understand Scripture more deeply than someone who has been in church for 40 years. Truth is not about how long you’ve been around religion, it’s about a heart that is willing to be taught by God. Thank you Jesus for bringing him out of darkness into your light. 💡
