@EverydaySens Maybe the medical staff has convinced him that his point drop off post concussion shouldn't be an issue next season . We'll know by mid November .
If the #Sens aren’t going to improve their forward group dramatically before camp, should they have just kept the 9th overall pick and taken a mulligan on this season?
Lots of opportunity left, but the clock is ticking.
@MarkJCarney I mean not really , why not just bulldoze it and build a proper Canadian ministerial residence ? A nation wide public architectural offering ?
@OhCanada27@EverydaySens I agree , which is why I'll wait to see what this years draft class comes out as in 2 or 3 years . After all if we redid 2020 sandy is 1 and stutzle is 2 overall .
Ottawa selects Jonas Lagerberg Hoen (🇸🇪) 25th overall. #GoSensGo
Notes:
- 6’2”, 190 lbs RW who is a pure shooter.
- Only played 9 games last year due to an ACL injury. Tested recently and 100% healthy.
- Ranked ~75th by most scouting services.
- Had 27 G and 3 A in 38 GP (J20 Nationell) two years ago. 9 G and 16 P in 9 GP before getting hurt last year.
My guess is Staios has been in on most of the players who have been traded, but the market is too volatile right now. Prices are crazy.
Fully expecting another move even if they pick at 25. They’d just lose a premium asset to deal with.
Not sure if the market will lessen, though, and I don’t think another impact forward is optional. Current group isn’t enough.
