+ I also don’t think Wukong ever truly hated his past sworn brothers. He was only hostile toward Macaque and Azure at first because they were hurting MK and his friends. Now that Macaque is helping MK, Wukong has become much kinder toward him.

I think Azure’s death is one of the reasons Wukong became more emotional and softer in Season 5. It was the first time he watched someone close to him die right in front of him since losing his pilgrimage friends, so it makes sense that it affected him.-

I got to chat with Billy here on twitter a few times after working with a TON of his voice record for Macaque. He was always so kind, he'd remember members of our anim/board crew and loved to talk about the show. Dude had such a genuine love for the craft and his peers.

It’s not cancelled. It’s under hiatus. Besides China opened up their Lego Shanghai Resort featuring the Monkie Kid cast, toys, rides and shops. Why cancel a series when theirs a theme park dedicated to them?

몽키키드가 레고 제품 중에서도 새로운 시도를 많이 했던 시리즈라 그런지 애니는 고사하고 제품도 중지되버리는건 너무 슬픈듯... 처음으로 아시안들이 기획한 제품이고(닌자고는 백남이 만든 오리엔탈리즘물이라 제외) 최초로 남자피규어에 처음으로 허리선(홍해아)과 속눈썹(손오공) 넣기도 했음
