Virtually every path of inquiry that I’ve taken with regard to the UFO phenomenon has brought me back to the same topic—mind control. The bedrock of all of this, in the realm of both the human and the non-human, is the systematic shaping of belief systems at the individual and the cultural level. The control mechanism is not esoteric or abstract. It’s very real. I’m going to be writing and speaking about that a lot more this year.

@JDMadden3 To be fair, I already know the best book on the epistemology of UFO’s!

What are the best books, from or amenable to a Catholic perspective, on the philosophy of technology, written in the past 50 years? Not just the ethics of technology—that’s too narrow. Thoughts?

Continuing my “accidental” 😂 synchronous contact with @JDMadden3’s podcast yesterday (see previous tweet)… I’ve had a slight cold this week and dozed off. My YouTube “accidentally” 😉 played THIS episode. After I posted, I accidentally found the podcast again. But honestly — it just came up in my feed out of nowhere. As I drifted in and out of sleep, pieces of the conversation kept sliding into my consciousness. Then they start talking about S&M and I’m like: “Holy crap — THIS!!” That whole discussion about wanting to feel pain rather than nothing in today’s world… 😭🤼‍♂️ It hit hard. Then the reference to Heavy Metal music and the theme of PAIN by @JaredZimmerer — a genre I haven’t really listened to since the 80s — also lands in that weirdly perfect, synchronistic way. Fast-forward an hour after I wake up… A brand-new @Aerosmith album drops onto my YouTube feed. Out of nowhere. Cool — but I mostly listen to country??? How is Heavy Metal 🎸 showing up for me? And then I find out my favorite country singer, @laineywilson, is collaborating on the album. Wild Woman. And the lyrics? I don’t wanna be alone So hurt me some more… The synchronicities lately are unreal. music.apple.com/us/album/wild-… I need obvious messages from the universe. 👽💚🤔👀🎸

😂 Dang …I’m Moded! 🫠 Lol! Nice catch. There are no accidents. 👽💚👀 For those too young to know what ‘Moded’ means (including @JDMadden3), here’s a little throwback! Source (Chat GPT) ✅ 1980s Slang Usage In California youth slang, “Moded!” was a popular taunt meaning: •“In your face!” •“Busted!” •“You got embarrassed!” Variants included: •Moded •Molded •Moted (your word!) Kids would shout it when someone got proven wrong, failed a joke, got caught, or lost a playful back-and-forth. It was often used jokingly, not cruelly, like a light roast among friends. This is documented by slang historians who note that “Moded, molded, and moted” were all used interchangeably as expressions for being proven wrong or humiliated in a playful way. 🎯 Example How It Was Used Someone drops their ice cream? ➡️ “Haha! Moted!” Someone tries to insult you but stumbles over the words? ➡️ “Oooh, moded!” Someone talks big and gets proven wrong? ➡️ “Bro, you’re moted.” 🧩 Why It Sounds Familiar This slang shows up in memories of kids from California, Arizona, and even parts of New Mexico during the 1980s and early ’90s. It faded after that, so it’s one of those “if you know, you know” regional generational slang terms. If you remember people saying it on the playground, at school, or among siblings — your memory is spot on. Have you heard “Moded” before?

@JaredZimmerer Think of Fromm's identification of the inner connection between masochism and sadism in the authoritsrian personality. 🤔

These “catholic bros” so concerned about a woman’s place are operating from a place of insecurity. The minute the leader of any institution has to remind people who’s boss, they’ve already lost the respect of those in their care. Leaders know they don’t know everything.
