Why do they all sound like this?? “I hate that we have to do this” “I don’t like it trust me” “No one likes gerrymandering less than me” “It’s bad but it’s temporary” It sounds like what someone would say before they are about to do the worst possible thing imaginable to you

Gov. Glenn Youngkin says Abigail Spanberger ran as a moderate but governed far left, accusing her of weakening public safety, raising costs, and embracing gerrymandering: “She presented herself as a moderate. Of course, I told everybody she’s not. And she’s demonstrated that she, in fact, fully subscribes to far-left liberal thinking. She told people that she would work to keep Virginians safe, and then the first thing she did was prohibit collaboration with the federal government—from state police, from our Department of Corrections, and from local law enforcement. We had a tremendous partnership that had arrested thousands and thousands of violent criminals who are here illegally, and she ended it all. It’s made Virginia less safe. She campaigned that she was going to bring down the cost of living in Virginia, and of course, one of the first things she did was put Virginia back into the greenhouse gas initiative and drive up utility bills. And the crème de la crème is she campaigned and said she would not redistrict, she would not gerrymander. She had stood against gerrymandering since the beginning of her career, and the first thing she does is come out and become the face of gerrymandering in Virginia.”
