I deeply believe in the power of education to bridge divides and bring people together. As Governor, I am working every day to make Virginia's schools the best in the nation and making sure all of Virginia’s students are set up for success.

Virginia historically has had some of the highest eviction rates in the country. In just the last six months, we've passed dozens of bills to meet this challenge and make housing more affordable. I held a roundtable with local housing-focused organizations to hear from them on the successful impacts from these bills. We are taking real action to keep more families in their homes by expanding the Virginia Eviction Reduction Program — putting more resources into the communities and caseworkers doing this work every day. And with the President delaying critical housing legislation at the federal level, we are taking action to help provide families with relief they need.
