@Bitcoin_Teddy In the late 50s St. Louis imposed a 1% earnings tax. Politicians said It would bring in a lot of money but have no impact on population. You can see from the population chart it had an immediate and enduring impact. St. Louis slowly lost population and corporations ever since.
