@clementmor1 is a 3D artist fascinated by the imagination of childhood. In his work, he explores a nostalgic perspective of that formative period, blending elements of wandering, naivety, daydreaming, and poetry.

𝘋𝘢𝘺 𝘎𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘴 by Tyler Hobbs | On view with @LaCollectionOff at The Digital Art Mile in Basel, Switzerland June 16-22, 12pm - 8pm Fourth Floor (Rebgasse 31), Basel 𝘋𝘢𝘺 𝘎𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘴 consists of 50 outputs. Half remain digital-only, while half include physical counterparts. The palette—warm creams, muted pinks, subtle grays—comes from observing his garden. There he discovered parallels between coding and cultivation: both involve setting parameters, nurturing growth, and embracing unpredictability. From thousands of outputs, Hobbs undertook meticulous selection—mimicking a gardener choosing which seedlings to keep, tending to the algorithm's potential. Drawing from Diebenkorn's Ocean Park series, Ellsworth Kelly's formal clarity, and Brice Marden’s textured cold wax paintings, Hobbs transforms geometry from rigid structure into atmospheric language. He prioritizes composition and texture over complexity. The grey tones aren't neutral backgrounds but active participants, functioning like Tadao Ando's polished concrete. With such minimal structure, the texture and color take on more weight; slight shifts in tone or surface detail become central to the experience.
