I pray that my wife obeys me. A few years ago, during our nightly family worship, I began to specifically pray that God would give my wife grace to “obey” me “as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord.” (1 Peter 3:6). If this makes you uncomfortable, you’re still a feminist. These are direct, crystal clear instructions from the apostles of Jesus Christ. We began to voice this prayer out loud for multiple reasons. 1. To root out any latent feminism in our own hearts. Calling your wife to obedience can feel awkward for both husband and wife when we have been so thoroughly catechized in feminism. 2. To establish these biblical categories for our children. Men and women are different. Wives and husbands have unique callings. I as the husband am called to sacrificially love my wife (which I also pray for grace to do each night), and my wife is called to obey me as unto the Lord. Praying this out loud together each night catechizes your children in biblical categories. Husbands lead and sacrificially love. Wives help, and obey their husbands. Together, they joyfully take dominion over their little corner of the kingdom. 3. To remind each other, and to remind our children that our roles within marriage ultimately point to the gospel of Jesus Christ. I, as the husband, I’m called to be a picture of Christ in the way that I sacrificially love my wife. My wife, as the bride, is called to submit to, and obey me just as the church submits to the Lord Jesus. So, husbands and wives, push back on the disordered egalitarian feminism of our age, pray out loud, together, each night. Husbands, pray for your wives, that God will give them grace to obey you as unto the Lord, as you sacrificially love them as Christ loves the church.

Let’s stop sugarcoating the truth-and instead- stand firmly and speak boldly about what is written in scripture. The church coddles too many feelings- we need to start stepping on toes.

Candace, these are extraordinarily serious criminal accusations. If you have “final pieces,” evidence, and names, then you should present them to law enforcement, not release them on social media like a cliffhanger. Claiming that American citizens murdered their colleague is not whistleblowing. It is an accusation of homicide that carries legal consequences if it is untrue. If you are confident in your evidence, take it to the authorities immediately. If not, what you are doing is reckless, defamatory, and profoundly disrespectful to Charlie Kirk’s family.

I received information last night that put the final pieces together for me. I now can say with full confidence that I believe Charlie Kirk was betrayed by the leadership of Turning Point USA and some of the very people who eulogized him on stage. Yes I will be naming names and providing evidence for my claims. And I am making a personal plea to every well-meaning person who donated to this Godforsaken organization to request a refund. You were lied to. And leadership knew.

@washghost1 I understand his point. Being able to point to something and say to yourself “that’s why I work so hard.” Is gone for most. When it’s impossible to own a home and very hard to afford kids or a family, it feels like slavery or survival instead of the American dream.
