@Thorpe7 @CJPhillips1982 Well the league clearly thought it wasnt a red so thats all that matters, but as everyone on the day commentating thought it was a red and didnt dispute it I cant blame the ref for that decision. It was all the other nonsense going on with the 4th official that was the problem.

@JamManUK2000 @CJPhillips1982 If anything from where I was sitting the touch on the keepers arm held the ball up for the Yeovil player to keep him in possession and get a shot off as advantage was played. He didn’t score so it wasn’t a clear and obvious goal that was prevented from the keepers actions.

@brutally_going @CJPhillips1982 I thought it was a red and saw the replays. The commentating team and Chris Phillips thought it was red. In that situation can hardly blame the ref for that decision. The Maher sending off etc was where it all went wrong.

@CJPhillips1982 Correct decision 👏🏻 shame the ref took the easy option Saturday and ruined the game. If you’re officiating a competitive game you really should understand the game and such situations.
