I’m curious…. when people have destination weddings, do they usually cover the flights and accommodation for their guests, or does everyone sort themselves out? I’ve always wondered how that works.
As my time as Secretary of Transportation concludes, I’m proud of all we’ve accomplished: tens of thousands of infrastructure projects, millions of manufacturing and construction jobs, & stronger, more resilient communities across America. Thank you for this opportunity to serve.
@GOtransit you’ve another accessibility fail. First the inaccessible “accessibility” cars. Now new electronic signs that are in a font that’s too small - unreadable for those with vision issues. @DavidLepofsky@aodaalliance
Had to stay at the Children's hospital with my daughter the other day and this is what they brought my baby to eat...$25B+ budget.
Imagine the mindset of making this and thinking it's adequate to feed kids with but the problems are much bigger than that.
Because most kids would not eat this nor parents would feed this to their babies or toddlers this will be thrown to the garbage, then the service worker can give you a prepaid card to go get proper food while a nurse watches your kid instead of doing more important healthcare related tasks.
Healthcare isn't mismanaged from a few big categories but a lot of little things that could be done smarter, and proper the first time but aren't and ending costing tax payers much more than they should.
She’s got a hairbrush in the courtroom and has her client on the stand looking like this? None of her defense strategies make any sense #jennifercrumbley
@picardonhealth@LaurenPelley@CBCNews Both my kids had trouble getting their shots. Issues regarding paperwork, (their issue not ours) and several appointments that were cancelled due to no vaccine. And appointments only during workdays in many places do those with evenings or weekends are booked.
This is one of my sadder stories, for the Star's The Third Act series:
They spend all day alone — in a chair. Some seniors are aging at home so quietly few know they exist thestar.com/news/canada/th… via @torontostar
I know Creighton Waters has done and continues to do the best that can be done here, but look at Alex Murdaugh's face after CW says he'll be in prison for the rest of his life ... it's giving "We'll see about that, pal" ...
@clairehsnyman Someone I know went to a clinic with stomach pain turned out to be virtual only. Person with her told to palpate stomach since computer can’t do that. Ended up days later in hospital for weeks. Virtual visit entirely a waste of time
Currently, #virtualcare is really just a telephone + video. But doesn’t really offer the “care” arm. How to assess the patient? How do we move forward from a 1876 technology? #thinkdigitalhealth

The good people of Kitchener & Waterloo have been waiting for 2-way, all-day GO service for over a decade. Ford & @Metrolinx refuse to provide us with a timeline of when we can finally get what was promised to us AND what the people of KW deserve #onpoli@students_union@yourWUSA
