@Jared_Gardner @HockeyBuzz Matthew Tkachuk gave the Flames a list of 3-5 teams he'd accept a trade to. There is no reason to believe AM34 wouldn't do similar. Even if he only gives you one team, retaining 50% still increases your return. Hopefully you're a better realtor than a critical thinker.

Gavin McKenna online comps players like Kucherov and Patrick Kane.. Now people saying he's a soft, small forward that can't help you win. Not every player has to be a big physical player to dominate in this league and produce wins. Habs have caufield and Suzuki leading the charge. IF you have an elite elite talent it doesn't matter if they're softer and under 6 foot if the skill level just blows away everyone else on the ice with amazing vision and passion to win. Kucherov had Hedman Kane had seabrook/keith Yes the Leafs getting Mckenna means they have a winger that can be a top point producer and drive that bus for many years. Will it change anything if they can't find a legit #1D and a legit goalie? No.. But you still draft mckenna and use your other pieces to find a way to get that #1 D YOu can get solid top 4 D men in free agency. Rasmus Andersson and Darren Raddysh for example i view them as very good 2nd pair Dmen if you somehow got 1 of those .. as getting a #1 in FA and trade is very hard doesn't happen often.. But if you had 2 top pairs that were basically very good 3/4's on any team then you have a chance. Raddysh Carlo Mccabe Tanev OEL Danford (play the kid) if that D stays healthy and trades rielly they're looking much better already. Leafs roster changed but the core is still in place that took florida with barkov 7 games. It's not a stretch to retool like so many think it is. the wheels feel off hard this year but that doesn't mean this roster is cooked and can't get back to very competitive with a couple key moves.

@honjamesmoore @NHL Your title says everything we need to know about your understanding of hockey. “I hope both teams have fun” and “everyone should get a ribbon”. The scrums build momentum they pump up the team. They get under the skin of players like who are soft and scared.

Dear @NHL ... scrums after *every* single whistle - where no one gets a penalty and no one fights - needs to be fixed. It's a lame and annoying waste of time. Start giving offsetting misconducts and/or coincidental calls for unsportsmanlike conduct and let's get the game moving.

@NHL_Watcher If leafs trade 34 and 88, they could legit get 6-7 legit premium pieces back. Along with Mckenna, Knies and Cowan, that’s almost 10 solid pieces. As a Habs fan I think this is what gives them longer term success. Keeping 88 and 34 doesn’t align with McKennas age.
