@secureainow That is less than 0.1% of all jobs in America. And how many jobs have been *created* by AI?

The Alliance for Secure AI
Every minute, someone loses their job to AI. Over 46,000 in March alone. Since we launched jobloss.ai, we have tracked 120,000+ AI-driven layoffs. This is not slowing down.

Liberty in Practice with Jason Sorens Jason Sorens (@JasonSorens) explores the difference between believing in liberty and actively putting it into practice, emphasizing how Free Staters strive to live out their values in New Hampshire. Drawing on ideas from C.S. Lewis, he argues that a meaningful commitment to freedom requires a deeper moral foundation beyond pure logic or personal desire. Through humor and philosophical examples, he critiques moral relativism and highlights the role of responsibility and shared principles in sustaining a free society. Ultimately, he calls on individuals to pursue truth and exert their “fullest practical effort” in building a freer, more intentional way of living.

@nhfreedom Yes, though Hillary might have been even more arrogant! It’s that combination of arrogance and whininess that I find so striking in Hegseth. Blaming everyone else while pretending to the moral high ground.

@JasonSorens President Biden was the most arrogant high-level American politician in my lifetime. Not sure if he was a jackwagon too.

@kneejerkskeptic Can we use force to defend ourselves against taxation? Yes, if it’s effective & proportionate. Can we kill everyone who supports taxation? Of course not.

@JasonSorens Income is time X value in dollars. For decades now, the government has stolen upwards of 40% of our incomes, we are 40% slaves. Is not slavery aggression?

2/ First: Are institutional investors the villains they’re made out to be? Not quite. @JasonSorens explains how large investors own less than 1% of single-family homes nationally and are actually helping to increase rental supply, which drives down rent prices.

The political world was abuzz Sunday night at the devastating defeat pro-Putin post-liberal, Viktor Orbán, suffered in Hungary’s national election. Some on the American right have mistakenly cozied up to Orbán, finding some compatibility with his occasional messages about social values. But alas, even beyond the confused moral messaging, what did Orbán in is what will do all “new right” illiberals in -- a disdain for the freedom and opportunity of a market economy. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/cap…

.@christianbrits you may want to look into NH's approach to preemption. If a local govt refuses to follow state law, their regulation is simply invalid & landowners readily get relief in court if the locality tries to enforce it. No need for the state to file a lawsuit.
